Calling a subreport using scriptlets

We have reports that calls a subreport passing a parameter. It was configured and running properly when all was configured by Ireport.

 

But now, we need to change it at runtime. We´ve been trying to solve it using scriptlet, setting the parameter at beforeGroupInit() method associated to main report. Our subreport is associated with a group, which causes the beforeGroupInit call.

 

It doesn´t work, because when the subreport is called we don´t have the correct value yet.

We know that we can´t change parameter value at runtime, so we need to know if there is an alternative to solve this problem.

 

What can we do ? Where can I pass this value ?
