rsilverns.sympatico.ca
As in two copies of the same page? In these instances I like to create a custom datasource which will return the same record twice before advancing to the next record. This allows me to have 1 report to edit/maintain yet end up with 2 complete versions when produced to pdf. HTH,Robin
naniivs
Thanks for ur suggession but can u clearly tel me. My problem is to get 2 copies of the same page in a single report. I used each page as subreport(i.e. 2 subreports) but all my detail content of the 1st page is printed ok but the detail content of the second page is not been printed. I am passing JRCollectionDataSource as parameters to each subreports. And i think this datasource is reaching the end after the first report. and we need to reset the datasource. I dont know if i am right. Can anyone please help me regarding this senario. Thanks in advance
lucianc
When you pass a datasource to a subreport, the datasource gets exhausted as the subreport iterates over its data. If you want to use the same data for two subreport, you need to either create a fresh datasource for each or rewind the datasource after the first subreport.
