Boxing around all detail bands

Is there any way to draw a box around all the detail bands on a page:

My first thought was to simply put a top border on the first detail line and a bottom border on the last detail line, but then I couldn't figure out how to tell if a line was the last detail line on a page.

One approach would be to create a dummy group having a constant group expression and use its footer to render the bottom border.
