Use iReport without Scriptlet---HELP!(China)

2005-10-26 00:23

Hello, all,

I'm an Chinese software engineer in ShangHai, and I'm a newbie in iReport.

How to complete all the effect of the inner charts in the iReport0.5.1?

In the past, I would use the external Scriptlet to create a new chart with the JFreeChart and use it as a variable in the iReport. But the maintenance of the production after its issuance is difficult for the technical supporters.

So my leader let me complete all the effect of the inner charts in the iReport0.5.1 without any Scriptlet??

But, how?

PLS HELP ME ! Thank you !!

Hi,

I want to use charts without scriptlets too. I'm from germany, berlin by the way... Look at the JasperReport website, there you will find an example how to customize charts, but you will need a customizer class. I think its better than depending on the scriptlet class.

I tried this but I dont get it to work, maybe you will. In IReport you can define a customizerClass. With this class you can change your chart like you want. If it works for you, please tell me.

thanks Bonkers

I do not want use any class that in the .jasper file, i.e, I want to use the inner charts merely. Only upload one .jasper file to the web server in order to produce a report.

But these charts are so lack, what a pity it is!
