ireport works best with mysql?

i tried making two reports using subreports. i made one using mysql and the other with mssqlserver. the mysql works fine, with the subreport and all. but with the mssqlserver report, the subreport wouldn't show. can i do something with the mssqlserver report so it will work perfectly?

The problem could be the JDBC driver of SQL Server.

But there is no difference from iReport side.
