Problems with subreport return data

I want to know if a subreport return data or not.

If the subreport does not return data(does not print lines in the detail), I want that some field are not printed.

How Can I make the "print when" clausule of this field(s)??

Can't I ask "if sub printed" in the "print when" clausule???

It's much time that I must do somes tests on how to set parameter of the master during subreport filling to return values from subreport to master.

For now I don't know an "efficent" way to do what you are asking for.
