This document uses the following conventions when referring to file locations:

| <js-install> | For manual installations, the directory where you unpack the WAR file distribution ZIP (jasperreports-server-<ver>-bin.zip) |
| The directory where GlassFish is installed. | |
| The directory where Java is installed. | |
| The directory where JBoss is installed. | |
| The directory where PostgreSQL is installed. If you use our bundled instance of PostgreSQL, it's in the <js-install> directory. | |
| The directory where Apache Tomcat is installed. If you use our bundled instance of Tomcat, it's in <js-install> directory. |
