However, you'll be able to create a simple VBA macro which will call JasperReports Server AAPI to fetch data to populate Excel cells. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now the question is if this will actually create the Excel template in the Jasper server so it can be downloaded from the same list as the other Jasper reports, or are you saying to use the JasperReports tech to pull the data then populate the Excel on its own, which is what we're already doing through the App Server.
