Studio 6.1 Fail.

I have two boxes.  One is Linux Mint 17.1 and the other is Debian 8 (Jessie, now stable).  On each of these machines I have attempted to install the .deb package.  I have also attempted to just run the executable found in the .tgz archive.  None of these options work.

- Attempting to install the .deb package on the debian machine, it complains about a missing dependency: OpenJDK6.  OpenJDK6 is not in the Debian 8 repos and likely never will be.  Version 6 is extremely old.

- Attempting to execute the file found in the .tgz archive on my Debian 8 box and everything appears to work fine.  Except that when I go to create a new report, the whole application crashes and shuts down.

- The .deb package installs successfully on my Linux Mint machine.  But again, when a new report is created the whole application crashes and shuts down.

I am pretty much at a loss here.  I can't get anything to work on either of these two machines.  Anyone have any suggestions?
