pascal_knol
Jaspersoft Studio overwites my subreports with older versions when I save my main report.I believe older versions of my subreports are cached somewhere in my workspace.I create subreports by making a new Jasper Report jrxml and save it in my workspace. Next I add a new Jrxml resource to my report on the Jaspersoft Server and select my jrxml file from the workspace. Then I close the file in Jaspersoft Studio and reopen it from the Jaspersoft Server and start editing it. After saving the subreport the changes are visible when I render the report from the Jaspersoft Server web UI. But when I save the main report then my subreport is often replaced by an older version (from cache?).The first time I save the main report then Studio askes if it may overwrite other resources. Then I uncheck all checkboxes. But when I save the reporort again later it does not ask the "overwrite question" and just overwrites subreports.I use Jaspersoft Studio 6.0.

Solution doanai Posted October 1, 2015 Solution Share Posted October 1, 2015 This is true, i'm using version 6.1.1. When you save report don't click Yes when it's asking Publish report. Just save and publish report manual, select ignore for each subreport then Publish.
