tomek_3
Hello, Problem I have relates to:- Jasperserver community edition- iReport installed on it- SSAS OLAP cube connection At the moment I have working IIS exposing SSAS to http; connecting to SSAS/OLAP via IIS/http works fine, I am able to see OLAP database/cubes in excel. Following guideline how to configure iReport & olap client connection (https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/connecting-microsoft-sql-server-analytic-services-ms-ssas-jasperreports-servers-ad-hoc), I was able to configure olap client connection in Jasperserver; by editing 'OLAP client connection' I am able to verify that connection to SSAS via http works also from Jasperserver itself: Having above done, I've tried to create sample report in iReport; problem is that when running wizard, it reaches status as below: Thougt it is problem with permission - but no, using excel I am able to reach same OLAP via http from exactly same machine, from where I am not able to see measures/dimensions using iReport. What seems to me like iReport is not able to see data (measure/dimensions) which are in particular cube.Anyone faced similar problem? If so, what may be the reason iReport is not able to see database/cube content? regardsTomasz
tomek_3
Hello, Just to share; was trying to do same as above in Jaspersoft Studio - but seems problem persist here as well; datasource configuration windows is below:/sites/default/files/images/olap3.pngso in short words:- connection is possible, test shows it works, but- when pressing 'get metadata' nothing happens, and no any data on drop-down menus are shown (fielsd: datasource, catalog & cube are empty).Anyone faced similar problem? regardsTomasz
