PDF unicode font issue

Hi All,

I have developed a report using fonts not available in itext. When exporting to PDF, words are shown, but not in correctly. Some letters are not correct. But, ireport internal previwer shows words and leters correctly.

I have tried ireport font extension technique. But, still doesnt work.

Please, help.

When setting up the font extension, try to use the Identity-H encoding and check the box for imbedding the font in the PDF. Identity-H is a predefined encoding for rendering large fonts or fonts with non-standard glyphs in pdf. I found that this works well with asian-character fonts such as Vietnamese.
