how to use " select top x records from table" in jaspersoft studio

Hello all,

I want to use " SELECT TOP p from table1" which p is a parameter that the user defines in generation time. I have used  " SELECT TOP $P{p} from ... " but it is not correct. Although I can display just #numbers of records in my report using $V{REPORT_COUNT} and a parameter, I do not want this case. I want to realy fetch only p records from database.
