Trying to generate a value in detail band with REPORT_COUNT==1

Hello everyone, 

I am trying to generate a multiple page report with title , expanding upto 3 pages. For that I used Detail band's property, "print when expression" = Report_Count ==1. (Cant use subreports, due to some issues)

Now, I need to display some text-value from the DB. For eg. I used a text-field and changed its pring when expression = "Timestamp.equals("2014-08-07") so as to give me the value in the eighth month.

But obviously it doesn't get printed as my detail band is being evaluated at ReportCount ==1, so it never reaches that month's row. I tried to change the evaluation time to "Report" for that text-field, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Any work around or help would be much appreciated.
