rh1c
Hi,I'm setting up a new JDBC datasource type in JasperSoft to connect to a remote database SQL Server. I have already added a JDBC driver for ms sql server in jdbc driver option. It always gives me this error:"The TCP/IP connection to the host "10.xxx.xx.xx", port 1433 has failed. Error: "connect timed out. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall."I have already added port 1433 inbound and outbound access in my security group used by Jaspersoft BI.On my remote sql server, TCP/IP port 1433 is already setup as well as adding inbound and outbound rules in windows firewall.Am I missing something in my configuration? Do you think it is possible to connect from AWS Jaspersoft to a remote or to my local SQL Server? What are other ways I can do to have this connection established? Please help..Thanks,
