Firebird in Java Studio

Using Jasper Studio 5.6.0 Final with Firebird.
1) When trying to create a new Data Adapter using the Firebird. I select "Database JDBC Connection" and click on Next. "Driver Classpath" tab, add the jdbc driver for Firebird. When I return to the "Database Location" tab can not find the string in Firebird JDBC Driver, or the connection string in JDBC Url (have to inform the two strings completely). The IReport provided these pre-assembled strings, just for the user can do adjustments. It's possible to implement this in Jasper Studio? I believe that facilitates the work of those who use other types of databases.
2) When trying to create a new report using the "New Report Wizard", I select the template "Blank A4" and click on Next. I type the file name and click on Next.
   a) I select the Data Adapter created above and I get the message "No Metadata. Double click to refresh", even making the double click, keep getting the same message.
   b) If I type the sql manually, it keeps sending the error message and displays the diagram (Diagram Tab) incorrectly. After typing the sql string it shows the correct diagram (if sql contain fields with names that do not exist in the database too display as if was correct).
