mallikarjuna360
Hi, I am using iReport Designer 5.5.0. I have a Timestamp column in the report. I want to break the page when the date changes. While I know it is possible to do it, I am not able to apply the logic. Can anyone give me a walk through the procedure for the same.

Ankur Gupta
Hi ,This could be attained by setting the Print When expression for the page break you have applied. The print when expression would consist of timestamp manipulation, that could be achieved by ($F{TIMESTAMP_FEILD}.getDate() ) and this could be compared to a static or initial date before the change.Hope that this helps. hozawa
In addition to all the other advices, in your sql command, add "ORDER BY timestamp GROUP BY timestamp".
