Calling reports with url containing both OUTPUT parameter and output controls doesn't work

I call a report with an URL. When it contains the OUTPUT parameter (output=pdf, for exemple), inputs controls are displayed but seems to be ignored so the report appears blank  ! 

When I remove the OUTPUT parameter the report is OK.

It must be a bug. It is very annoying because whe can't create directly read-only documents in PDF !

I am in jasperreports server 5.1 (open-source) but the pb still exist in 4.5. It worked correctly in 3.7

Is there a workaround ?

can u pls post an example URL u r trying to get the report. Also the out which got as result?

Try this..Let me know if this helped..

 uncheck "Always prompt" for parameters..if u r passing the parameter through URL

Thanks  hishamkmr, but the pb is that I want Jasper to display input controls, so the user can fill values.

The input controls appears but no pdf is generated.
