legupta Posted July 22, 2013 Share Posted July 22, 2013 Hello, I just downloaded the 30 day trial for latest version of JasperServer(5.2) and Ireports. I followed the setup steps and installed Jasperserver on a Linux machine and Ireports on my Mac. Now I am trying to run the sample reports that are bundled with the Jasperserver. But clicking on any of the reports leads to the following error: The server has encountered an error. Please excuse the inconvenience. Error Message java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class net.sf.jasperreports.engine.util.JRStyledTextParser The stack trace does not tell much about what is happening. This is very odd since the bundled reports should work flawlessly. Anyone else hit this issue? Any thoughts on what maybe going wrong? Thanks!
