How we can avoid merging two table data and static text data in ireport

Hello,

I am developing report in my application using ireport 4.0.2.

Detail tab of my report contain static field.After this one table is defined.After this again static field is defined.Following this another table defined.

My problem is when my report is being executed,first table data is merged with second static field and second table data.What is the solution for this

Hi,

 As per my understanding you need to create two Detail tabs and declare 1st table in one tab and 2nd table in other tab.

Set your fields to positionType="Float" .... it will solve it....
