Can not connet to repository

Using Jasper Reports Server 5.0 community editions, and Jaspersoft iReport Designer 5.0.1,

We can connect to the Jasper Web interface and do everything we want, but when we try to connect the iReports to the Repository we get error.  Error: (404)Not Found.

the url we are useing is http://machine_name:8080/jasperserver/services/repository   If I go directly to this link I get the exact same message from a web browser.

when we go to repository in browser the URL is http://mdajtools:8080/jasperserver/flow.html?_flowId=searchFlow  but that will not work from iReports.

Any Ideas, what am I missing.
