Max length of cell contents(text) is 32,767, character- Excel issue

Hi Everyone,

I am using Ireport Designer 4.6.  while exporting report into  excel format,  I am getting the following error:

Exception : Java.lang.IllegalArgumentException : Max length of cell contents(text) is 32,767, character

I tried lots of things but no success.  I know that alternative is to use csv format and same report is working for csv format.

I am looking forward to fix this issue. Any suggestion will be highly appreciable. Please help.

It is the limitation of old Excel xls format, you should export to xlsx format
