smallbook
Hi there,I am very new to Jasper. I have been trying to create a chart using Jasper IReport. I am trying to use to plot graphs for the utilization of resources in my servers. For example, I monitor cpu, memory, disk utilization of servers in my environment. I have narrowed down to only one kind of resource for one server, let's say memory utilization of server A. The time stamp is every 10 minutes. Now, I would like to plot on x-axis the time stamp, on y-axis the values of memory utilization. What should I key in the Category expression, Series expression etc etc? I don't even need the "legend" that explains which color belongs to what item. How can I do that? Thanks in advance.
smallbook
I've got it settled by going through the chart wizard rather than adding in the data after the graph is added. I used static text for the Category series instead of fields from the database.Hope this will help the rest.
