lcostello
I downloaded Ireports on my Windows 7 computer (64 bit). And when I try to open it says ::cannot find java.exeNeither c:windowssystem32jrebinjava.exe nor C:windowssystem32binjava.exe exists I tried going into environmental variables and changing the path of the java_home but that didn't work. Any ideas? Post Edited by lcostello at 05/11/2012 17:
lcostello
I fixed this by adding the folder it kept saying wasn't there and adding java.exe into it. Apparently Ireports process is called java.exe and it was just trying to open itself.
tharageta
Hi can yo please explain feather more , what folder did you add and where?
tharageta
I manage to get it to work by creating the directry structure java_home. is where the i report has been installed. Copy the jre7 into that dirrectry. If you dont have it you can downolad it from oracle website. create an enviroment variable pointing to java_home http://www.itcsolutions.eu/2010/11/29/set-environment-variables-in-windows-7-for-java/ . save and enjoy.
