Resource bundles for localization and deployment on JasperServer

On my Jasper Server version 4.1.0, I have about 15 jrxml files in the Reports section of the repository that each serve as the main report for about 50 JasperServer reports using different databases. I have started building resource bundles for each of the jrxml, and I have also uploaded these properties files in the repository. The only way I can get localization to work, however, is by adding a reference to the corresponding properties files as a resource for each individual JasperServer reports. Although it may be possible to add the resource bundles to all of the about 700 reports efficiently through scripts, I would much rather have the base jrxml files point directly to the right location in the repository or the class structure. However I cannot figure out the right combination of resource bundle parameter value in the jrxml file and resource bundle properties file location or name to make this work.
