Problems deploying custom data sources

Hi,

I am using JasperServer 3.7.1 and cannot get custom data sources to appear in the application.

For example, I ran the build.xml for samples\customDataSource and even though the ANT build ran successfully, and there are no errors in the logs, the custom data source does not appear under the Data Sources folder in the application.

Likewise, I created my own applicationContext and jar file for a custom data source and copied these into the WEB-INF and WEB-INF/lib directories respectively.

However, there is still no data source appearing.

Can anyone help me here please? If I even got the sample to work then that may resolve the same issue with my custom data source.

You could grab one of the big data connectors:

http://jasperforge.org/bigdata

Even if you have no need for Hadoop... you might learn what you want to know by looking at those samples. They show up as data sources after you copy them into WEB-INF.
