Problem with page height after adding subreport

Hello,

right now I am designing a report with a database in postgresql using iReport. Until now everything went fine. I have multiple subreports in one main-report. I get about 7 to 16 pages as a result. using about 30 subreports (some of them sub-sub-reports and so on).

The main report is DIN A4, 842 pixels high. Normally the subreports are smaller. But a new one isnt. It is about 1400 pixels. I want this subreport in the main page and the other reports with 842pixels. It should break pages, if possible, automatically. Page breaks didn't work. Cutting this subreport into 2 isn't possible because there can be more than 1 of it.

The error:

"Band height validation for subreport "XXXXX" failed in the current page context (height=842, top margin=0, bottom margin=0)"

Is it possible to design more than one page in a report?

Regards,

LasP
