cmd line fill and export to pdf

 Hello everyone,

I recently started using iReport to finish some ERP reporting off our Oracle DB for my company.  I am loving it very much and have had good success with invoices and some AP/AR reports.  However until we can buy/make some server changes I have to make due of letting the users run the reports via cmd line short cuts.  Can someone point me to the right direction as to how I can reproduce the preview feature of iReport with pop out windows for parameters and print / save as PDF functions?

I mainly done SQL programming, and is not as familiar with Java as I wish, so please be gentle.
