How to programatically merge cell?

Hi,

In my project, I have to dynamicallyl genera report i.e. through programming like below.

 

Column 1	Column 2		Column 3		Column 4		Total
	Count1	Count 2	Count1	Count 2	Count1	Count 2	Count1	Count 2
Value 1	1	1	1	1	1	1	1	1
Value 2	2	2	2	2	2	2	2	2
Value 3	3	3	3	3	3	3	3	3

I want to merge columns (Column 1 to Column 4 and Total) as shown above figure.

I am using JasperAPI to generate report.

Which class should I use and how to generate above kind of report?

Hope, I could clearly specify my requirements.
