michael_hess
Hi everyone, I wanted to give iReports a try so I downloaded and installed it (iReports 3.7.3) but I need the gui to be in german. I have read that I can copy translated language bundles into my installation folder to change the gui language. Could someone please give me a guide (copy which file to which folder) for the german translation files or point me to a guide?I downloaded 'bundle_de.properties' from http://jasperforge.org/jasperbabylon/appdetails.php?appid=1 . Where do I put it?I already set the program locale to german via ireport-3.7.3/etc/ireport.conf. ("--locale de") Thank you in advance,Michael

michael_hess
Thanks for the help but no change. The addition of --locale=de already delivers a half translated gui. I suppose it is just a question of translating the missing strings. Appending -J-Duser.language=de hasn't brought any further change. My problem is just that I have no idea where to find the to be translated strings in the system or where to put the files from jasperbabylon to. I copied bundles_de.properties (http://jasperforge.org/jasperbabylon/download/1) and com-jaspersoft-ireport_de.jar (http://jasperforge.org/jasperbabylon/download/29/) to ireport\modules or ireport\modules\locale but no change. If someone has knowledge of an already translated version of ireport designer (german) please do tell me.
