Details Band Fixed Height

Hello,

I'm creating a report which will be printed on a page of stickers.

Therefore I need my details band to be of fixed size, and not resize based on content.

When I use 'stretch with overflow' on a text field, the details band always stretches by the same amount as the field, even though this is not necessary as the details band is wide enough for the text field to stretch and show all contents.

Is there a way I can prevent this?
