installation war file tomcat and oracle DB

hi @all

 

as i choose to install from a war file distribution into an existing tomcat installation i downloaded jasperserver-3.5.0-bin.zip from http://sourceforge.net/projects/jasperreports/files/. but the required installation files for using an oracle database are missing. what did i do wrong?

 

the goal is to get some advanced reports from oracle apex without using expensive bi publisher.

are the combi jasperReports/iReports the right products?

Hi,

 

JasperServer Community Edition comes with prepared distribution only for Tomcat/MySql installations.

For Oracle, you either manually configure it or get JasperServer Professional from Jaspersoft.
