text field - properties expression

Hi everybody,

I spent a lot of time in trying to use the "Properties Expression" feature without success. How can I get the value I definied in a template in the respective exporter class? calling text.hasProperties() in exportText(JRPrintText text) returns always false.

Didn't find any doc or threads around that feature.

ok... If anybody has got the same problem :

 

seems like every property must begin with :

net.sf.jasperreports.export.

e.g.

property name = net.sf.jasperreports.export.size
value = 5
