bijuphilipmani Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Hi,I am using the windows installer for jasperserver3.1. i am installing this to a server ddfjktd21 where there is an instance of tomcat on port 8081 and instance of MySQL on port 3306 already running. while installing, i gave the option to use these instances. after installing, i ran the allctl batch file. a DOS window popped up and closed. when running http://ddfjktd21:8081/jasperserver, i get the following messagethe requested resouce is not available.when i searched the log files, i found among many things, these two relevant linesCannot load JDBC driver class 'com.mysql.jdbc.Driver'Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Drivercan anyone please tell me where i am going wrong?biju Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lucianc Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 For some reason, the MySQL driver was not copied to $TOMCAT/common/lib.
