O/S CentOS release 4.7 (Final)

Due to errors, I copied iReport.jar and barbecue-1.5-beta1.jar into /opt/jasperserver-3.0/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver/WEB-INF/lib and bounced the server.

Added barcode report to jasperserver. When executing on server no text is displayed. Text is displayed when run locally.

Centos 4.7 - ymmv with other distros.

1. Install Xvfb

       yum install xorg-x11-Xvfb

2. Make new file /etc/Xjasper.cfg with text below:

     localhost

3. Start Xvfb

    /usr/X11R6/bin/Xvfb -auth /etc/Xjasper.cfg :9 -screen 0 1024x768x8 &

4. Modify /opt/jasperserver-3.0/apache-tomcat/bin/startup.sh

      add to bottom before exec :

      DISPLAY=:9; export DISPLAY
      echo using DISPLAY=$DISPLAY

5. Bounce JasperServer

     /opt/jasperserver-3.0/jasperctl.sh restart
