iReport 3.2.1 on NetBeans 6.5 dos not work

 Hi there!
 

First, sorry for the long post.

 

I just installed iReport  3.1.2 on a totaly  fresh NetBeans SE 6.5.

I am able to create a simple test report using the wizard successfully, but when I try to preview the report   It freezzes so bad, getting a messeage to check the log. 

After looking at the log file.  I found a lot of errors/warnings. Searching the web I foud thread  #48852 with the following recommendation:

I uninstalled the JDK (1.6.0_03) and installed the current version (1.6.0_10). Now both 3.1.2 and 3.0.0 seem to work fine.

Why everything else (including NetBeans) would work fine and just the two versions of iReport wouldn't remains a mystery...

I tried but it did not solve the problem.  Additionally I double checked xerces is available in NB

 

Well,  is there anybody who can contribute with any idea?
