gary002g
I have created several reports for my project and they work as intended unless I try to export them into Excel file. PDF, RTF, Html, CSV are fine but with XLS I have two major problems:I checked it on all my reports. same thing everywhere - static text from title band disappears. Is it a known issue? Can I do something about it?Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Report name from the title band disappears. You have overlapping elements in the title band. See this FAQ. Regards,Lucian

Regards, Lucian Thank you for pointing out the overlap. It is actually iReport designer placed it there an I haven't noticed. The second problem is solved. I am attaching the complete jrxml file for the first problem for your review. If anything else is needed please tell me. Thanks a lot. lucianc
The empty rows are produced because of the line element placed in the detail band. You could set the IS_IGNORE_GRAPHICS export flag to true so that the XLS exporter would not export the line; however, the image/log would not be exported either.
