NeO_GeO
Hello everyone, I followed all the instructions of the guide to upload a file "Jrxml" in a report unit. I tried to use the plugin of ireport to connect with jasperserver for creating folders and reports. In every case I can not find any files ".jrxml" in any directory of jasperserver, and i can not even see the reports! I ' ve found The Jrxml files in a local directory ('... / .ireport / jstmp '),but no trace in my server. What ca i do to upload correctly ? I need to know and be able to find out where the files jrxml for integrating my servlet in tomcat. Soon i'll publish my work to help someone other. codyjasperForge
When uploading from iReport, make sure that you 'explore' each directory in the specified 'server' that you have created. Explore to the directory of your choice before uploading the file. Also, make sure that the user has permission to write to that directory as well. Hope it helps. m_mereu
hi NeO_GeO, I am a newbie but in my understanding you are facing two problems: 1. if your repository report folder look emnpy after adding a report unit through ireport plugin, check your permissions, especially if you login as jasperadmin, becasue this user by default can only admnister but not write,2. when you add a report you'll never find the jrxml in the host filesystem because everything is stored in the mysql JIFileResource table. So, you should try and look there, where file_type="jrxml"
