jimf
Hi,I've downloaded iReport2.0.2. Is there a requirement to install Jasper reports too? When I start iReport, the Status stalls on "Setting Locale". EDIT:I've verified the basic Jasper engine jar files exist, and Running the .bat file, I get the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com.l2fprod.gui.plaf.skin.Skin at java.lang.J9VMInternals.verifyImpl(Native Method) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.verify(J9VMInternals.java:63) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:124) at java.lang.Class.forNameImpl(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.forName(Class.java:127) at org.flexdock.plaf.mappings.PlafMappingFactory.createPlafMapping(PlafMappingFactory.java:80) at org.flexdock.plaf.mappings.PlafMappingFactory.loadPlafMappings(PlafMappingFactory.java:67) at org.flexdock.plaf.mappings.PlafMappingFactory.<clinit>(PlafMappingFactory.java:25) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initializeImpl(Native Method) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:187) at org.flexdock.plaf.PlafManager.getSystemThemeName(PlafManager.java:43) at org.flexdock.plaf.PlafManager.getPreferredTheme(PlafManager.java:104) at org.flexdock.plaf.PlafManager.installPreferredTheme(PlafManager.java:83) at org.flexdock.plaf.PlafManager.initialize(PlafManager.java:37) at org.flexdock.plaf.PlafManager.<clinit>(PlafManager.java:33) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initializeImpl(Native Method) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:187) at it.businesslogic.ireport.gui.MainFrame.<init>(MainFrame.java:479) at it.businesslogic.ireport.gui.MainFrame.main(MainFrame.java:8019) Does this suggest that there is a missing .jar file for the "no Class def found error"? If so, can someone point out what I am missing? (besides experience) Thanks Final Edit: Search found a same problem in a previous release described here:http://www.jasperforge.org/index.php?option=com_joomlaboard&Itemid=&func=view&catid=9&id=25824#25824 Had to extract skinlf.jar from the link mentioned above and place it into the iReport2.0.2 library. GUI now loads OK. Post edited by: jimf, at: 2007/11/07 02:49Post edited by: jimf, at: 2007/11/07 03:

zhangweiwu
Actually I am a bit surprised to have downloaded iReport 3.0.0 and fail to run it. It is Java app so it should run everywhere right? As soon as it turns out it's a jar file missing... Please be more careful packaging it and please fix this problem asap to avoid small packaging mistake japerdize reputation of iReport.
