Conditional formatting

Hello,

I have a report with text fields rendering numbers.

I'd like to apply some kind of conditional formatting to my fields. I would like to display numbers in red if the underlaying field value is negative, in a regular black font if the value is positive.

How can I do this with iReprot and JR ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Fred

Define a style (under Styles in the Format tab) and assign the element(s) to that style (Right click, click properties, set style to the new style you defined). Then set conditions within that style for what you want to display. You can configure when each condition is chosen (based on the value being negative or whatever) and the new style (which can include the color change) for that condition.
