Setting Currency symbol in test field pattern

Hi,

In one of my report, i need to display the value in currecny format with currency symbol and it should not depend on the locale currency.

 

for ex, I need to display the currency in euro despite of whatever the locale might be. Im getting this pattern while setting the currency pattern

¤ #,##0.00

How should i modify the pattern so that i can display the value in Euro always.

 

Anyone please reply me as soon as possible.

Anyhow i managed to display the Currency symbol. Just i copied the GBP symbol from Excel and pasted in the pattern.

Is this an ideal solution or is there any other way of doing this?
