Temp file deletion.

I am create the chart using the jasper report and show it in HTML format, for that i am using the image uri and image dir. But problem i was facing that the jasper report creating the image with same name. So I have add the time stamp to which create new dir and store the image in that directory. Now the problem is that how to delete the temp image created by the jasper report.

If your application is a web application, it is recommended to use the JR images servlet instead of writing images to directories. To see how to use the image servlet, take a look at the "webapp" sample from the JR project distribution.

 

If you still need to use image directories, I'm afraid it will be your responsibility to delete them once you'd no longer need them.
