lyth
please, get rid of groovy-all-beta.jar as the final release is out. With the beta version some reports take up to 5 minutes to load over the network, and the latest version of jasperreports is not compatible with final release of groovy. I had a terrible nightmare debugging my application till I discovered with the help of a profiler that the whole time is elapsed inside groovy-all-beta.jar. So, please, get rid of this stuff.:)
caspar.oostendorp
I also want to kindly ask the creators of JasperReports to upgrade to the final release of Groovy. We decided not to use Groovy for now, since it gives too many headaches (beta-10 prevents our reports from compiling, but the final does not work as well). But I love JasperReports anyways, keep up the good work!
lucianc
We have upgraded Groovy to 1.0 on SVN. The report code generator and compiler suffered minor changes, so make sure you recompile your reports when updating JasperReports. shinzui
When are you going to release a version that works with groovy 1.0?

It will probably take some time as 1.3.1 was released only a few days ago. In the meantime, you can check-out the source from SVN, build them and use the resulting jar.
