bhadden
I am trying to create data source for an MSSql 2005 server database. I am using the MSSQL JDBC. I have put the sqljdbc.jar in the lib folder of JasperSoftiReport-1.3.0. I have also added it sqljdbc.jar file to the classpath. When I setup the connection properties and click test, I get the following message: ClassNotFoundError!Msg: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriverThis class may not have been found: com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver Check your classpath. Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Brennan
bhadden
I have solved out the problem. I need to have the old MSSQL 2000 jdbc driver. The old driver has three jar files, msbase.jar, mssqlserver.jar and msutil.jar. The driver for MSSQL 2005 is one driver sqljdbc.jar. contentengineer
Use the jdts drivers instead... in our particular implementations they are quicker (and easier)... available from sourceforge.
