watkyn
Has anyone experienced anything similar to this: I have a customer that is able to preview several reports that look great in the viewer. But when they try to print to any of their printers (including a PDF printer) the output does not match the preview. One report had 11 pages and on each page the text was cut off at random places in the middle of a row and left the rest of the page blank, and did not print the footer. Does this sound more like a printer issue or something in the jasper reports side of things that I can remedy? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Tony
ripnasty
I've got the exact same problem. The reports are very simple - just straight detail reports - no groupings, subreports etc. Preview looks fine in the JasperViewer but when they send it to the printer - they get a few detail lines then blank. If they output to .pdf it looks great (and if they print that .pdf it's fine). I originally thought maybe margins and I'm using 0.5" margins all around - one would think most printers can handle this. I cannot for the life of me reproduce the problem here...
