Drill down to another report automatically (no hyperlink)

Hi,

I'm looking to create a report that is basically a dummy report, where all it does is take some parameters, then calls a different report.  In the past I have drilled down to other reports by using hyperlinks - however I don't think that works in this case because I want the other report to be immediately called, without any clicking. 

I am using iReport 5.2.0.

Is Embedding BI an option in your case. ?

@sadakar - No it isn't.  However I realized that I could solve my problem by using subreports and referencing an external jrxml file resource located in the repository which I mention here: http://community.jaspersoft.com//questions/1049611/setting-subreport-path-another-jrxml-located-elsewhere-jasper-repository
