No Pages Option is not working in iReport 5.6.0

Hi Team,

In one of our scenarios, we need to generate the excel report and if there is no data no report should be getting generated.

So in properties we have selected "When No Data - No Pages" option.

But still we are getting empty excel report when there is no data in the database. No Pages option is not working as desired.

Please help with this issue asap as this is one of our production issue.

iReport is no longer supported. Try with Jaspersoft Studio 6.3.0 to see if the same problem occurs.

I have tried executing jasper report using JasperSoft Studio 6.3.0. (I am not creating new report , have opened the .jrxml file created in ireport 5.6.0)

But I am not getting the desired results with "No Pages" option. Instead of  empty buffer , its still generating the empty report.

I am using table components in my report. Does this issue persisting because of the table component ?

Please suggest.
