Seeking clarification in converting oracle report to Jasper report

Hello,

We were evaluating if we could convert existing Oracle reports into Jasper report. Jasper report work fine when it is feeded with one query but when multiple query needs to be executed for a report, there seems no solution. We tried create one main report and few sub-reports, work well but we are unable to do calulations over main and subreports. Below is simple demostration of the requirement.

Main report  - revenue ($)

                               100

Sub report 1 - revenue ($)

                               150

Sub report 2 - revenue ($)

                               200

Sub report 3 - revenue ($)

                               300

 

Grant Total: 750

How do we Grant Total kind of calculations in Jasper ? Do you know if there is a way to achieve same in Jasper ? I am new to both Jasper and Oracle reports.
