I want to get a subtotal of, for example, a column of SALARY at the end of each page. I put the subtotal on the column footer in Table and the Table is in Detail band. I am using iReport Designer 5.1.0I created a variable called "SumSalaryPerPage" and its properties are as follows 1. Calculation: Sum, 2. Reset type: Page, 3. Variable Expression: $F{SALARY}, 4. Variable Class: java.lang.Double, 5. Increament Type: None. I put this variable on the column footer in the Table.After that, I tried to do Preview but it shows a problem saying that "Variable SumSalaryPerPage of dataset Table Dataset 1 cannot have Column or Page reset type" Is there any solution to solve this problem?
