Sum of one variable

Hi can someone help me.

I created a report, which will give the the total PL, SL, and CC out of Total appication status per month. I have date range as my Param. and now i have to get the Total of PL, SL, and CC by whole date range.

PL, SL, CC  are variables. and I create 3 variable also for their total. i Put $V{PL} in variable expression and put as sum. same as for SL and CC. 

How can i get the sum of the value of 1 variable.
